Karina España was raised in the Pacific Northwest in a multicultural family - a family committed to public service through education, community development, and law enforcement.

She is a physician in Portland, working within and advocating for our mental health community. She explores conversations within the medical community about diversity in medicine, cultural identity, and the power of narrative to facilitate healing.
