Front Porch Sessions and the Connection Cure have collaborated to create an engaging and fun event that will foster community connection through a blend of captivating storytelling and interactive audience participation. Local storytellers will share personal stories that illuminate the evening’s theme and thought-provoking discussions will inspire connection among audience members. Come listen, and engage in exciting conversations as we work together to build a stronger, more connected community through humor and science.

On October 10th, Front Porch Sessions, in collaboration with Portland Center Stage, will host a fundraiser to assist those affected by the Maui fires. This evening will be filled with stories, compassion, and joy, as we come together in community to make a meaningful impact.

The Turnout will celebrate Black History Month and Portland’s Black community by making connections across the city—sharing, learning and growing together through the power of story. February 16-19, 2023, in the heart of the Historic Alberta neighborhood, Broke Gravy, Front Porch Sessions and Alberta House will bring you storytelling, improv comedy, community building, and workshops. Come celebrate with us!

With Chris Williams as our emcee, two youth and one staff member will guide audiences through their stories and share the ways in which we can foster community with strangers!

Join Front Porch Sessions in helping to make less strangers in the world! These events are about listening and sharing with an open heart. Three storytellers will share a personal story around a chosen theme.

We are coming back again on the first day of Spring with three fresh storytellers. Nakita Simpson, Erin Jean O'Regan and Alexander Dang are all busy preparing to help us make less strangers in the world!
