Cyndi-Lynne Keahi Reynolds
Founder, Ō The Bake Shop & Ōrwaiian
Cyndi-Lynne Keahi Reynolds was born in Hawaii and raised (briefly) in Waialua, a small town on the beautiful North Shore of Oahu. In 1997 at about 11 years old her mom packed up Cyndi and her siblings for an unexpected, formidable move to Troutdale Oregon. While it took some time to adjust, Cyndi's reflection on having been raised in two such beautiful places gave her the insight to feel proud of where she came from and appreciative of where she is today.
A career in the world of GIS (Geographical Information Systems) pushed her beyond self-doubt. That career helped usher in an even greater sense of her cultural roots. Through food and education she began to create a new path. Eventually leaping into entrepreneurship.
She and her husband Chris now own and operate a new, very small, snack and bake shop in Gresham Oregon - Ō The Bake Shop. Her snack company, Ōrwaiian LLC is what started it all. A sauce and rice flour snack made her wonder; What else can I do with my life? Answer - "Whatever I feel valuable enough to do.”
